The only carbohydrate which has been demonstrated to raise cholesterol is
high fructose corn syrup. Neither sucrose, glucose, nor whole food
carbohydrates including fruit have been demonstrated to do this, and most
whole food carbohydrates are in fact cholesterol lowering.

? hfcs & sucrose are made up of glucose & fructose, it’s true that certain
combinations metabolize differently & affect ldl’s, hdl’s, triglycerides &
insulin differently even as far as creating their own LDL b patterns which
cause artery damage. but over all carbs should be avoided as much as
possible, even your whole bread, which is just slow metabolized sugar with
some nutrients.

This list is pretty good, I know a pretty cool website though that can
teach you about some other foods and routines that will help, the owner of
this site actually has really high cholesterol that’s family hereditary so
this guy know what he’s talking about. I really recommend it for people

a friend of mine with a cholesterol level of 270 despite running 3 x per
week and being slim started taking a bowl of cooked oats 5 x per week. his
cholesterol dropped to 220. he did not modify his diet in any other way. he
takes rice meat and veggies for lunch and dinner daily with 3 to4 whole
fruits per day.
