Anybody who has an accident and goes into shock can degenerate into cardiac
arrest. Healthy young individuals who go into shock for various and sundry
reasons can go into cardiac arrest: Psyhchogenic shock, hypovolemic shock,
hypoglycemic shock, Hypothermia, electrolyte imbalance, blood gases not in
proper ratio…so and and so.
