How are you doing my friend??? I am 32 with HBP too… I took Arginine
about 10 years ago while really lifting weights a lot to boost gains… I
have started taking it again for about 2 1/2 weeks… I swear I feel better
& I can’t honestly say what my BP difference is… I did check it a few
days ago and it was lower than before with just meds… God Bless…

I’m 56 with high blood pressure. L-arginine lowers my blood pressure but
ESPECIALLY if I work out while it’s in my blood system. In fact that’s what
the claims say because it opens the blood vessels AND opening the blood
vessels make L-arginine more effective. Oh, the weiner thing is true too.

@relicright, yes it does. If you have herpes simplex it might act up
easier. But that is a side effect I can live with.

@jcisbell I’m 25, and I’m about to start the force factor supplement, which
is loaded with L-Arginine. Seriously; is the information about the male
‘nether region’ and Arginine really true?

@dhills2009 Okay, well yeah it is true. The effects for me are fairly mild
and short lived, but I’m over 50 and have high b.p. It’s a little like
Viagra-lite. The best effects for your arteries is to find your own dose
and divide it between sleep time and a couple hours before work out time.
Regarding your workouts, you look fine! Stop obsessing. By the way, you
look like you’ve lost weight – just kidding.

L-Arginine need not be taken in “time released” form. That is a waste of
money. If you are deficient in L-Arginine, it help. Otherwise, it will be
excreted. In my case, it lowers my BP by 10 points systolic, and lowers my
pulse by 10 BPM. Losing 20 pounds of excess weight lowered by systolic by
25 points and my diastolic by 15 points, but did not affect my pulse rate.
I take 2.5 grams of Arginine twice per day.

This is great in reducing blood pressure. I love to take the juice so I get
it in powder form and drink as a juice.

No! Bob never got rich off his books. He was a dedicated journalist and
researcher. I have taken Niacin under his direction for 25 years and
L-Arginine for about 15 years since he introduced it to me. All my lipid
and BP numbers are much better and at 70 I wake up with a woody from the
L-Arginine.

” excessive sympathetic Fight or flight drive” You are absolutely right! My
cardiologist was puzzled when my BP went over 170/110 when he stripped me
naked, wired me up with a dozen nipple clamps, ankle clamps, BP cuff etc.
and sprinkled me with water! Well, HELLO, doc, whaddya expect???
